So…The University of Alaska, Fairbanks has sent me another letter, practically begging me to go there.
The cost to go there is a little over $16,000 for out of state-ers. Which is cheaper than Oregon’s universities. Plus since I am a 4.0 student going into Computer Science, I would be able to get some fantastic scholarships, and even more when (not if) I get into the Honors Program.
So…thats second on my list, next to WOU.
I hope WOU pulls through for me, but I would really like Alaska. Its cold, but cheaper. Cant argue with that.
I would have to leave Laura behind, but we will still be together, and surviving two years apart would be the ultimate test. Which would mean that we could survive the rest of our lives together if we pass the test.
Oh, the joys of transferring.
I hope this year goes well.

Yesterday, I read the book of Romans. Its a very good one, and I am pretty sure it was written by Paul.
Romans 5:1-8 would be a good place to start.
So yesterday, I got the gonads and asked Laura’s parents if….they would give me permission to marry her.
Their answer was….wait a bit longer. But they were more than happy that I offered, because they REALLY like me. Her dad also gave his blessing to our relationship, and would have given his blessing to our engagement if we were closer to being done with college.
But other than that, it went real smooth.
Oh well, I guess I have to wait a bit longer. But I know that she is the one I am going to marry.
Oh, did I tell you what she gave me for my birthday? A Bible. And what have I been doing with it? Reading it. What do I still believe about it? Non-fiction. True. Word of God, and that Jesus is the Messiah.
And what do I have to lose if I am wrong? NOTHING. I would rather believe in something that turns out that it doesn’t exist than to not believe and find out it exists.
And I am a very logical person. I dont know how some people draw the conclusion that religion should be forced on others, but I know how people may think that. I just finishing reading Acts, where Paul, whom was someone of the Law of Moses and persecuted those who went against it, gets a vision of Jesus asking “Why do you persecute me?” and is sent by Him to preach the Good Word. Paul, who was called Saul in the beginning of the book of Acts, goes around to all the synagogues and preaches the Word of God and Jesus Christ to the Jews. I suppose that, and many other tales of the disciples going around, may be basis of the idea that Christianity should be forced on everybody. But I read that, in today’s times, and dont want to force religion on anyone. People have to draw a line between their religion and other’s religion, and not cross it, and live their life in peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. One of the verses I live by.
Am I done with college yet? I am really starting to dislike it for two reasons…
1. Since I want to get a Computer Science degree, I have to fit two years of study into 3 terms before I have to pay for them. I email the instructor, and he told me classes I MUST take fall term. The two CS classes shouldn’t be a problem, and I think I would have between 16 and 18 credits. But there is another math class (Sweeet, I know, ;) ) that looks like I need to take, which would push me up to around 20 credits. Not doing that. I might drop my social studies class and take it later.
2. I just want to be done, get a job, and get married. Why does society make that so hard?
Gots a question for y’all.
How long should two people be together before they get engaged, or is does it depend on the couple?
The poor mother cat kept licking the kittens, hoping it would revive the kittens. According to the family that adopted the stray cat, on the morning of the 11th when they heard the cat’s tragic cries, they rushed downstairs to discover this stray cat’s four kittens abused to death, and even placed in front of the mother cat. The kittens’ bodies were covered with bullet holes, with blood all over. One of the kittens had its neck tied with a rope and elongated, its chest cut open, heart exposed, while the other three kittens’ heads were stepped on.
that is fucking horrible.
fuck you you fucking bastard. i don’t care who you are. there is no fucking reason for you to do this to the poor kittens. damn you. go to hell.
I am now going to make it my life’s goal to find this motherfucker and do the same thing to him/her and his/her children, with a extra-dull rusty butter knife. And yes, Mr. No-Use-F-word used the F-word. Told you I save it for when I am royally pissed. Who could do such a thing? Low-life scum, I believe.
